Stephen started the firm soon after qualifying in 1968 and is now responsible for managing the practice and making sure all clients, whatever their size, receive the very high level of personal service and advice Ramon Lee Jacobs tries hard to give. Over that time Stephen has obtained a vast range of experience and expertise in many areas of accountancy. In particular he has had many years experience in advising clients in the amusement and leisure industries. Stephen gives advice on company and personal taxation with particular reference to tax planning and Tax and VAT investigations instigated by HM Revenue & Customs, as well as giving clients management advice and acting as a professional witness. |  | | Melanie Dempsey F.C.C.A. Melanie spent the early years of her career with medium sized groups in practice in London’s West End. In February 97 she moved to a local practice in Harrow and joined Ramon Lee Jacobs in 2003. Melanie has a broad base of experience in audit, taxation, management accounts and dealing with government agencies. Melanie has particular experience in set up situations, advising and assisting with growth and with the implementation of computerised accounting systems. |  | | Mark Fielding BA(Hons) M.A.A.T. Mark joined Ramon Lee Jacobs in 1982, having previously worked for a central London firm of Accountants since 1975. Over the last 30 years Mark has accumulated a considerable range of experience and expertise dealing with a wide range of clients from sole traders to larger companies. Mark specialises in dealing with Inland Revenue Investigations, as well as helping clients with business set ups, supporting clients’ businesses, minimising tax liabilities, and generally advising on a broad range of issues. Mark also has particular experience regarding the Construction Industry and Sub-Contractors. |  | | Alan Wade A.C.A. Alan started his accounting profession with a medium sized firm base in Harrow, where he qualified as a chartered accountant in 1983. He gained various experience since qualification and joined Ramon Lee Jacobs in 1988. Alan has a wide range of knowledge in accounting, audit, and taxation, specialising in technical accounting matters. |  | | Lindel Miller Lindel started his career in taxation with the Inland Revenue. He joined Ramon Lee Jacobs in 1987 and since then has obtained a wealth of experience in dealing with the Inland Revenue as opposed to working for them. Lindel now has a wide range of knowledge in personal and company taxation as well as specialising in payroll and PAYE and heads Ramon Lee Jacobs’ computerised taxation system department. |
